DESCRIPTION:Welcome to the TMC and Grrrl Music Women In Music Night. TMC and Grrrl Music are partnering to create this one of a kind monthly gathering for women in San Diego’s music community\, including artists\, producers\, DJs\, songwriters\, promoters\, listeners\, and more. \nThis session turns the spotlight on the business of music. Whether you’re an artist building a career\, working behind the scenes\, or looking to break into the industry\, our guest speakers will share practical insights into navigating the business side of music and building a sustainable career. \nOur featured speaker is Haley McCullough\, JD\, an entertainment attorney and TMC Board Member whose career sits at the intersection of music\, media\, intellectual property\, and business. Haley is currently an Associate Attorney at peermusic\, the world’s largest independent music publisher\, where she works on copyright\, licensing\, rights management\, acquisitions\, and a wide range of music publishing agreements. Haley will be joined by an additional guest speaker to be announced. \nIf you are working in music\, or even just interested in music\, this new event series is for you. As TMC is a recording studio\, guitars\, amps\, drums and other instruments are available so there is also always the opportunity to break into a creative jam session and just have fun! \nPlease RSVP for this event as space is limited!
