Marlon Funaki's story
Marlon came up through Southern California's music scene, teaching himself production out of necessity while touring rooms of every size — including stints opening for national acts. By 2024 he was on the road constantly, but high-quality recordings that could travel further than a live show were still out of reach.
That changed when TMC invited him in for a Beach Break Session. The band treated the shoot like a real show, rehearsing their set until it was ready for a professional crew — and the result became TMC's most-watched session to date.
