Misfire is a shoegaze and post-punk inspired alternative rock band. They have helped bring a new sound and a new look to the San Diego State music scene, which has payed off for them as they’ve had steady growth outside of SDSU, playing at venues like House of Blues and Soma. What sets them apart is being the art as an artist. Not only is their music their priority, but they also create all of their own merchandise, graphic design, and video editing. They see all of these things as extensions of the music, making them artists as a whole.
