Hailing from WindanSea, SeaPoodle is an 8-member “surfadelic” band born out of the Covid lockdown, as most of the band can walk to each other’s houses. Blending 60’s psychedelic and surf rock with hints of metal, indie, reggae, funk and Latin rhythmic percussion, their high energy jams bring unique and fresh grooves to the SoCal music scene.
Founded by friends, Matt Donoghue and Mikko Fleming (Mikko, a former pro surfer that was nicknamed “SeaPoodle” for his legendary sun protection hack), the band has already made waves scoring the live soundtrack to Jason Baffa’s surf film “Confluence.” With several tracks currently streaming and a treasure chest of more originals waiting in the studio, SeaPoodle is just getting started.
