Rafael Pondé is a Brazilian artist born in Salvador (Bahia) with three decades dedicated to researching, creating, and disseminating Brazilian music in dialogue with Reggae and other sounds of the Black Diaspora. A composer, singer, multi-instrumentalist and music producer, he has released eight solo albums, in addition to an extensive singles distribution built on collaborations and special projects. His career is marked by aesthetic coherence, cultural density, and consistent international circulation.
