Songwriters’ Circle

Pull up a chair in TMC’s studios and share your music in a welcoming circle of fellow songwriters. Whether you bring a finished piece or just a rough idea, you’ll receive supportive feedback from both peers and Patricio A. Pickslay — music producer, songwriter/composer, educator, and President of Pacific Records. As a Grammy voter with nearly three decades in the industry and a track record of producing award-winning work for Billboard charts, films, and television, Pat will help you break through creative blocks, strengthen your songs, and grow as an artist.

What to Expect:

• Share a song (or part of one) with the group
• Get critique & guidance from your songwriting peers and from Pat Pickslay, whose production and songwriting credits span radio hits, TV, and film (patriciopickslay.com)
• Deep dive into fundamentals: lyrics, melody, structure, hook, arrangement
• Experiment with ideas in a relaxed creative space and push your song further

Parking
The Promenade Plaza offers an underground lot accessible from Reed Ave on the north end of the plaza, or Pacific Beach Drive on the south end. TMC offers 2 hours of free, validated parking. We are unable to validate for the parking lot in front of our building; street parking is also an option.
